Stephanie Billers

Sports Massage Therapist

As a professional dancer, I understand the demands and strains on the body from intense physical activity. Throughout my career, massage has been an essential factor in keeping my body healthy and moving at it’s best, not only during intense schedules, but also during rest periods and aiding my recovery from injury.

In noticing the numerous benefits massage was giving me, I couldn’t wait to study this further and help treat others. Since qualifying as a Sports Massage Therapist I have enjoyed treating a range of clients, from professional dancers at Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and world-class athletes at the Commonwealth Games 2022; to office workers, keen runners and gym goers. It's great seeing the positive effects it has on everyone, no matter what their lifestyle.

As a dancer on a busy performance schedule, I needed a reliable practice to aid my muscle recovery and prevent ongoing 'niggles'. Not only did I find Stephanie's treatment eliminated fatigue, but I also came out of her sessions feeling mentally revitalised. Her calm and warming presence put my mind at ease and prepared me for another week of demanding shows. I would highly recommend!

I consulted Steph regarding ongoing thumb and wrist issues with pain and swelling, having already tried two cortisone injections. She identified areas within my forearm particularly which, due to compensating, had gone into spasm. A program of treatment by Steph helped relieve the pain and gave me increased movement. I would definitely recommend her.

I had been having discomfort in my shoulders and back for some time as a result of sitting hunched at a desk all day. Steph quickly identified the root cause of the issue and after the first session the results were unbelievable! Not only did I come away pain free, I also felt relaxed and rejuvenated. It improved my performance at the gym, as well as my comfort at work.
